“I’ve had an interesting relationship with Hawley Air since I first started business with them less than a year ago.

During a major remodel of a recently acquired 27 year old home, I forced my contractor to fire his HVAC sub-contractor due to incompetence. A “tech” from Hawley Air arrived to deal with the failures of the first company. After working with me personally for several hours, I found out that “tech” was Bart, the owner of Hawley Air. His expertise and concern for quality led me to ask about a maintenance agreement for my two HVAC systems in my home.

When Jacob did my first winter maintenance this past December, I asked him about the condition of my ductwork due to the remodel. He took excellent videos to show me the resulting dust and debris of 27 years, plus the remodel. He also took photos of serious issues due to the age of the two systems. Several weeks later a crew came out, cleaned and repaired the ductwork, and did the other repairs. I wish I could remember the names of the crew members, but I didn’t realize at the moment why it would be important.

Jacob just did my summer maintenance, and found that there was a serious refrigerant leak in one of my systems. I knew it was a bad idea to spend 25% of the cost of a new system to repair a 17 year old severely rusted system, knowing that the rest of the system could still fail this summer. Jacob arranged for Jeffrey to come out for a quote the following day.

Jeffrey talked with me, listened to me, and quickly came up with a no nonsense quote that addressed my needs and desire. There was no hard sell. There was just professionalism. I told him I needed a day or two to think it over. Needing to do my due diligence, I quickly arranged for another quote, while doing my research on the quote given. I could have gone elsewhere for 0% financing, but it was well worth paying cash for the amount of money I saved going with Hawley Air. Jeffrey gave me the best deal possible without asking for it. 0% financing comes at a cost!

On Monday I agreed to Hawley Air installing the new system, and Wednesday the crew arrived. Joe and Skyelar installed the system, and Miguel came by to install an additional return to properly load the system. Excellent bunch of friendly, hard working men.

Regarding the reason I regret not remembering the names of the crew that came to clean my ducts and do repairs…
A business can have a great employee, in spite of the business, but when every employee I have met has stood out as being exceptionally friendly, with a great attitude, it makes one start to think that maybe the company is being run well. When I ask the various employees how they like working for Hawley Air, their response is not only overwhelmingly positive, but they are quick to talk about why it’s such a great company to work for, including proper training, support for tools, etc.

As much as I wanted this to be a review of the excellent work and friendly, courteous behavior of Joe and Skyelar, which it is, I can’t help but make this about every person I have encountered from Hawley Air. To Joe, Skyelar, Jacob, Miguel, Jeffrey, and all the other employees who have been to my home, thank you!
